Gruning Precision
Gruning Precision was founded by James Gronning. Mr. Gronning started his career as a machinist in the aerospace industry over 30 years ago. He served a formal four year apprenticeship to become a Journeyman machinist. While in the aerospace industry,
Mr. Gronning machined and built testing equipment contracted by Rocketdyne, Wyle Laboratories, and JPL. He specialized in an atmosphere controlled machining process of highly precise components that were used by Boeing Defense, NASA, and the Department of the Navy. Mr. Gronning was also a member of a research and development production machining team involved in the manufacture of the U.S. Army M247 Air Defense Gun System.
After founding his own company Mr. Gronning has developed and manufactured Forensic Laboratory Firearm Testing Equipment, firearm optic mounting systems, as well as specializing in building highly precise and accurate specialty weapons.
Our company, located in Riverside, California, is family owned and operated. We are equipped with a complete machine shop. All of our machinists are certified by the state of California as Journeyman machinists. Currently our products and services are being used by the Federal Bureau of Investigations as well as various Law Enforcement Agencies around the country.
